NLUD Research and Teaching Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Law University Delhi (NLUD) is looking for a Research and Teaching Associate for its Centre for Transnational Commercial Law (CTCL). The Centre runs certificate, diploma and PG courses on transnational and comparative commercial law, and it also takes on consultancy, research projects, seminars, clinics and training work with industry, governments and NGOs. This is a single contractual position funded by the Centre, so it suits a law graduate who enjoys both research and helping run courses.

The role sits close to the Centre's weekend online and distance learning (ODL) courses. You will help build and coordinate those courses, while also backing the Centre's ongoing projects with research, reports and publications. Strong research, writing and communication skills matter as much as the law degree itself.

Because the Centre works with professionals, public authorities, corporates and other institutions, you will get exposure to applied commercial law work beyond the classroom. Your experience can be either academic or professional, as long as you gained it after earning your law qualification.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of work: Full-time, based at the NLU Delhi campus in Sector 14, Dwarka, New Delhi.
• Tenure: Contractual for one year; it can be extended depending on project needs and your performance.
• Pay depends on funds: The consolidated pay is subject to the availability of CTCL funds, and 10% TDS is deducted from it.
• Reporting: The position lies with the Executive Director of the Centre, or as the University decides later.
• Interview costs: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or interaction.
• No guarantee: Meeting the eligibility does not guarantee an interview, and NLU Delhi may choose not to fill the post or withdraw the advertisement.
• False information: If any detail you give turns out to be false, your candidature or appointment will be cancelled and legal action may follow.
