The post is for the project titled VLSI Design and Implementation of Imagined Speech based Neuroprosthesis: An Application in Healthcare System, funded under the Chips to Startup (C2S) Programme, Category-III, MeitY, Government of India. The project is under Dr. Hariharan Muthusamy, Principal Investigator, Department of Electronics Engineering. The appointment is temporary and initially for 1 year, extendable up to the project duration based on performance.

Who Can Apply?

Project Associate-I

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or allied areas.

Junior Research Fellow

• Qualification: M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Signal Processing or allied areas with first class in both B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech.
• Mandatory: GATE or CSIR-UGC NET qualification is required.
• Age: Preferably below 35 years.

Research Associate

• Qualification: Ph.D. in Microelectronics and VLSI Design or Signal Processing, or M.E./M.Tech with 3 years research experience and at least one SCI/SCIE journal paper in the relevant project area.

Salary

• Project Associate-I: Rs. 25,000 or Rs. 31,000 per month plus HRA as per norms.
• Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA as per norms.
• Research Associate-I: Rs. 58,000 per month plus HRA as per norms.
• Research Associate-II: Rs. 61,000 per month plus HRA as per norms.
• Research Associate-III: Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA as per norms.
