North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation (NERAMAC), a Government of India Enterprise incorporated in 1982 under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), is filling 1 Project Assistant post on a contractual basis at its Guwahati office. NERAMAC works with farmers and Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) across the North East, providing marketing linkages, procurement support and capacity building for the agri-horti sector, and has helped set up over 220 Farmer Producer Organisations in the region. The role primarily involves data entry and coordination work related to FPC records.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute, from a UGC-recognized university/deemed university or an AICTE-approved institution.
• Experience: You need at least 1 year of work experience. Candidates with experience in data entry, MIS work and computer applications like MS Office and MS Excel will be preferred.
• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.
• Preference: Candidates with maximum experience in a Public Sector Undertaking or a large, reputed organization will be preferred.

Age Limit

• You should not be older than 26 years as on 1 August 2026.
• Age Relaxation: May be granted at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated monthly pay of up to Rs. 20,000.
• This is a fixed consolidated remuneration — no other allowance will be paid during the contract period.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

NERAMAC will select the Project Assistant through a walk-in interview — there is no written exam. The process includes:

1. Document Verification: Bring your original bio-data along with educational and experience certificates on the day of the interview.
2. Personal Interview: Conducted by NERAMAC on the spot.

Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call — NERAMAC can raise the qualification bar to shortlist candidates, and preference is given to those with PSU or large-organization experience. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, and your appointment will be subject to being found medically fit as per the prescribed health standards.
