Nagaland University is hiring one Project Associate - I for a research project in the Department of Physics. Nagaland University, a central university established under Act of Parliament No. 35 of 1989 and headquartered at Lumami in Zunheboto district, has announced a walk-in interview for one Project Associate - I post in the Department of Physics. The position is attached to an ANRF-funded research project titled "Luminescent-based ratiometric thermal sensing in various optically transparent biological windows", funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (formerly Science & Engineering Research Board), New Delhi. No written exam is required — you are selected directly through the walk-in interview. This role suits M.Sc. Physics graduates interested in condensed matter physics and materials science research.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with at least 55% marks.
• Preferred Specialization: Condensed Matter Physics or Materials Science.
• Preferred Knowledge: Understanding of the photoluminescence property of solids.

Salary

• You will get a fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA if you qualify NET/GATE (as per ANRF norms).
• Non-NET/GATE candidates will get Rs. 30,000 per month plus HRA.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
