Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV), Nagaon, Assam has released Advertisement No. 02/26 for filling up 7 posts of Grade III Employee (MTA and Examination) and Grade IV Employee (MTS). MSSV is a UGC-recognised university under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, established by the Srimanta Sankaradeva Sangha. Vacancy Details

Who Can Apply?

Grade III Employee (MTA) — 1 Post

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from any recognised university.
• Computer Knowledge: One-year Computer Course is required.
• Experience: Working knowledge of an educational institution as a Grade III Employee.

Grade III Employee (Examination) — 1 Post

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Computer Skills: PG Diploma in Computer Application with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience handling Examination Management Software.
• Experience: You must have experience in processing examination records, result tabulation, marks sheet preparation, certificate documentation, and maintaining digital records with data confidentiality.
• Preferred: Candidates with experience in examination-related confidential work at a University, Board, or Autonomous Institution will be given preference.

Grade IV Employee (MTS) — 5 Posts

• Qualification: Passed HSLC or an equivalent examination from any recognised board.
• Experience: Working knowledge of an educational institution as a Grade IV Employee.

General Requirements (All Posts)

• You must be a citizen of India.
• You must be medically fit in mind and body — a certificate from the District Medical Officer, Nagaon or a Registered Medical Officer approved by the Vice-Chancellor is required.
• A character certificate from the Head of the last institution attended or served must be submitted with the application.
• Government employees must apply through proper channel with a NOC from their authority.

Salary

• Salary for all posts is as per the MSSV Pay Matrix. The exact pay scale has not been specified in the notification.
• Salary will be governed by the MSSV Employees' Service Conditions Ordinance after appointment.

• All categories: Rs. 500
• Fee can be deposited at the Accounts Branch of the university directly.
• Alternatively, deposit by Demand Draft in favour of "Registrar, Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya" payable at State Bank of India, Nagaon Main Branch (IFSC: SBIN0000146).

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the university's requirements. Note that merely meeting the qualification criteria does not guarantee an interview call.

1. Screening of Applications: The university screens applications based on eligibility and immediate requirements.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
