KGMU Junior Research Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview
King George's Medical University (KGMU) is recruiting a Junior Research Assistant for a project in its Department of Biochemistry at Lucknow. The study explores mitochondrial biomarkers that may connect Type 2 diabetes with Parkinson's disease, bringing these research areas together within a university department.
The Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has sanctioned the project, which is identified as Project 4972. Dr. Shivani Pandey, Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, is the principal investigator. Your engagement would be attached to this research project.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project period: The notice gives the research project a two-year duration. This describes the project as a whole and should be read separately from the initial period of your employment.
- Initial engagement: You would join for one year. Continuing for another year depends on your performance and the principal investigator's recommendation. The notice therefore makes renewal conditional.
