Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) is engaging a Project Associate in the Department of Physics for QUEST, the Quantum Enhanced WRF model for Urban Climate System Modelling project. The research is supported by the National Quantum Mission under the Department of Science and Technology and explores how advanced computing can support urban climate-system modelling. This is a project-linked contract under Principal Investigator Prof. P. Arumugam, not a regular institute appointment. The associate will connect project administration with technical data analysis, making the position useful if you can keep research activity organised while also working confidently with scientific information. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The engagement is planned for three years and remains connected to the QUEST research project.
• Nationality: The project position is open only to Indian nationals.
• Work profile: The post combines coordination and administration with data analysis. It is not limited to routine office support, because the associate works inside a technical Physics research project.
• Equal-merit preference: SC and ST candidates receive preference when their qualifications and experience are equal to those of other candidates.
• Interview travel: No TA or DA will be paid for attending the interview. You need to arrange your own journey to Roorkee.
