Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, is engaging full-time and part-time Counsellors for its campus community. The work goes beyond student appointments: the notice places students, staff, faculty members and their dependent families within the service's scope. This is a campus mental-health support role, combining individual counselling with workshops, group discussions and coordination with the institute's medical team. Posts and Disciplines

• Full-Time Counsellor: A regular time-commitment role supporting counselling access, outreach programmes and coordination with the institute's health and medical framework.
• Part-Time Counsellor: The same professional counselling area with a time commitment and assigned work adjusted to the part-time arrangement.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract tenure: The initial engagement is for six months or one year and may be extended when performance is satisfactory and the service continues to be needed.
• Temporary status: The appointment is purely temporary and does not create a claim for absorption into IISER Pune.
• Specialisation proof: Your degree or mark sheet should name Clinical Psychology; otherwise, bring a letter from the university confirming that specialisation.
• Screening discretion: When turnout is large, the institute may limit interviews after considering qualifications and experience beyond the stated minimum.
• Post flexibility: The number of positions may change according to the institute's needs during the recruitment process.
