ICMR NIRWoH Consultant Scientific Medical Recruitment 2026: Overview
ICMR-National Institute for Research on Women’s Health (ICMR-NIRWoH), Mumbai is engaging a Consultant (Scientific–Medical) at its Parel campus. This is a full-time contractual engagement, with an option to request video conferencing for the interview.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial engagement: The first contract will last no longer than one year. An extension depends on the institute’s need and your performance, so you should not treat renewal as automatic.
- Further engagement: The institute considers extensions individually. The notice also sets an overall limit on how long a consultant may remain engaged.
- Applicable rules: ICMR’s guidelines for engaging consultants apply to this appointment. The terms paragraph uses the designation Senior Consultant, although the vacancy table and opening paragraph name Consultant (Scientific–Medical). Ask the institute to clarify this wording before accepting an appointment.
- Accuracy of information: The application declaration makes you responsible for the information you give. False information can lead to cancellation of candidature or termination without notice or compensation in its place.
Application Submission Notes
The in-person venue is ICMR-NIRWoH, Parel, Mumbai. Reporting is at 1.30 pm, with the interview scheduled from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm; confirm the day with the institute because the notice contains inconsistent interview dates.
