ICMR NIHR Junior Consultant Medical Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Council of Medical Research - National Institute of Health Research, Bhubaneswar (ICMR-NIHR) is engaging a Junior Consultant (Medical) for the DRISTI Bharat Tribal Health Observatory project. This is a temporary contract position based at the institute in Bhubaneswar. The appointment belongs to the project's non-institutional staff arrangement, rather than the institute's regular establishment.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project status: your appointment is tied to a temporary project engagement. It does not create a claim to a regular post at ICMR, its institutes or any Government of India department.
- Future assignments: serving on this or other projects does not give you a right to transfer to another project, receive a further assignment or have your service made regular. The notice applies this rule whether your project service has breaks or is continuous.
- Allocation of work: the competent authority will decide the duties after selection. The advertisement identifies the project and consultant role but does not set out a detailed daily work plan.
