ICAR-CRRI Cuttack is hiring 2 Laboratory Assistants on a contract basis under a research project. If you have passed Matriculation (10th) with the right subjects or experience, you can attend the walk-in interview. The interview is on 1 June 2026 at 3:30 PM at ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack. ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (ICAR-CRRI) Laboratory Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

The ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (ICAR-CRRI), Cuttack has released a walk-in notice (Advertisement No. 09/LA/2026-27) for 2 Laboratory Assistant posts. These posts are under the project "Production, Popularization & Supply of Quality Bioinoculants for Rice-based cropping and farming system" (EAP-416). There is no online application — you simply attend the walk-in interview with your documents.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (Option 1): Matriculation (10th) with +2 Vocational in Agriculture-related subjects.
• Qualification (Option 2): Matriculation (10th) with 2 years of working experience in a laboratory or in agricultural field work from a reputed organisation.
• If you are currently working somewhere, you must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 50 years old as on the date of the interview.
• Age relaxation is given to SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get Rs. 18,000 per month (consolidated, fixed amount).

Selection Process

Selection is done through a walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: A written-cum-personal interview held on the interview date.
2. Screening Test (if needed): If too many candidates turn up, a screening test may be held to shortlist candidates for the interview.
3. Document Verification: Your original certificates are checked. Submit a filled biodata form (downloaded from the website) with copies of your certificates.

How to Apply

1. Download the biodata form from the ICAR-CRRI website at icar-crri.in and fill it in.
2. Bring one recent passport size photograph.
3. Bring your original certificates (from Matriculation onwards) along with photocopies, plus your experience certificate.
4. Reach the venue: ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack on 1 June 2026 by 3:30 PM.
5. No candidate will be allowed after the mentioned time. No TA/DA is paid.

• Assist with quality assurance testing of bioinoculants (around 500 samples)

• Help with field-related agricultural tasks when needed
• Follow lab safety rules and standard testing procedures
