ICAR-CIRCOT Business Manager Recruitment 2026: Overview

ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR-CIRCOT) is engaging a Business Manager for its RKVY-RAFTAAR Agri Business Incubator in Mumbai. The incubator supports agricultural ventures, technology commercialization and founders who need help turning research or an early idea into a viable enterprise. This is a short project-linked engagement, suited to someone who can assess start-ups, guide incubation activity and connect commercial thinking with agriculture and technology. The selection is arranged as a walk-in with a hybrid option for people who cannot attend physically.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The appointment is purely temporary, contractual and co-terminus with the incubator project. It ends with the notified project period or earlier project closure and gives no right to absorption in ICAR-CIRCOT or ICAR.
• Place of work: Your base will be ICAR-CIRCOT, Matunga, Mumbai, but project or office work may require travel elsewhere in India.
• Early exit: A selected person who leaves before the contract ends must give one month's notice or pay one month's salary in place of notice, subject to the project rules.
• Hybrid interview: Applicants who cannot appear in person may request an online interview in advance and must provide the reason to ICAR-CIRCOT.
• Reporting: Walk-in participants should reach the institute before the scheduled interview so the office can complete registration and document checks.
• Current employment: Anyone already working in a project, scheme or organisation must attach a No Objection Certificate and produce the original during the interview.
• No separate call letter: The institute will not issue individual interview letters, so you need to follow the schedule in the official notice.
• Travel expense: No TA or DA is paid for attending the interview or joining the post.
• Immediate joining: The project is time-bound, and the selected person should be ready to join immediately or as early as possible.
• Final decision: Canvassing can disqualify an applicant, and the Director of ICAR-CIRCOT makes the final decision on selection.
