District Project Office, Samagra Shiksha, Bemetara is selecting part-time Music Instructors for PM SHRI schools in Bemetara district, Chhattisgarh. The instructors will work across participating schools in the Bemetara, Nawagarh and Saja development blocks, helping children gain exposure to music as part of the PM SHRI school programme.

This is a school-based temporary engagement for the current academic and financial-year cycle. It suits a music graduate who can turn subject knowledge into clear, practical sessions for schoolchildren and work within the timetable and supervision of the allotted school. The engagement ends with the notified programme period and does not create a claim to a regular government appointment.

The school principal or head teacher will oversee the local arrangement, while the service provider is expected to keep a daily record of work and get it countersigned. Your ability to engage children consistently, follow school-level directions and build interest in music will matter just as much as formal subject knowledge once you take up the assignment.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Domicile: you must be an original resident of Chhattisgarh and provide valid residence proof from the competent authority.
• Employment registration: a live registration with the employment office is required.
• Temporary status: the work is strictly part-time and contractual for the notified programme period, with no right to regularisation or permanent appointment.
• Contract: the selected instructor must sign the prescribed agreement. A breach can end the engagement under the contract terms.
• Joining: failure to report within the time given in the appointment communication allows the office to move to the next person on the merit list.
• Verification: selection can be cancelled at any stage if information is false or a supporting record does not match the application.
• School allocation: the block office will allot the service location, and the school head will manage the day-to-day schedule and certify the work diary.
• Travel costs: no TA or DA is payable for appearing at document verification.
• Disputes: the Collector and District Magistrate's decision is treated as final for selection-related disputes under the notice.

Send the prescribed form by speed post or registered post to District Education Officer, Bemetara, District Bemetara, Chhattisgarh. Forms delivered personally are not accepted, and the district office is not responsible for postal delay.

You may apply for no more than three schools, using a separate application for each school. If one form lists several schools, only the first preference is considered; if more than three forms are sent, the first three received in order are retained. Attach a self-addressed envelope carrying a Rs. 10 postage stamp as directed in the notice.
