The Board is now looking to engage 4 General Duty Medical Officers on a contract basis to strengthen the medical team at the hospital. There is no written exam or application fee — you just need to walk in with your documents during the interview window. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must hold an MBBS degree or an equivalent medical qualification from a recognised university or institution.
• Internship: You must have completed your compulsory rotating internship.
• Registration: You must be registered with a State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India (now NMC).
• Experience: You need at least 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years.

Salary

• Selected GDMOs will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 1,17,000 per month.
• This is a contractual engagement, so standard government allowances (DA, HRA) may not apply separately.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: You need to appear in person at the Cantonment General Hospital with your documents. The interview panel will assess your qualifications, experience, and suitability for the GDMO role.
2. Document Verification: Your original certificates and documents will be verified on the spot during the walk-in.
