CSIR NCL Project Associate Organic Chemistry Recruitment 2026: Overview
CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune is recruiting Project Associate-I staff for its Organic Chemistry Division. The temporary appointments support two CSIR-NCL projects grouped under code MLP002629-35. One studies enzyme-based routes to amino-acid derivatives through C-H hydroxylation. The other involves making three classes of compounds related to S-024-0765.
Your work will combine organic synthesis with analytical chemistry. The notice connects experiments at different scales with product isolation, purification and structural analysis. Hands-on experience in multistep synthesis and characterisation is desirable for this research setting.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project tenure: The engagement runs with the sponsored project and depends on satisfactory performance and conduct. The notice does not promise a separate fixed contract length.
- Temporary engagement: This role does not create a regular CSIR or NCL appointment. It also gives you no entitlement to another institute post or fellowship.
