Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is hiring consultants for approved projects through its Pune recruitment team. C-DAC is a scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, with work spanning computing, software, electronics and related technologies. These are project engagements with part-time and full-time options, and both require you to attend the workplace in person.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial engagement: The contract initially runs for one year. Any extension depends on project needs and the engagement terms; it is not automatic.
• Employment status: Appointment as a consultant gives you no claim to temporary or permanent employment with C-DAC. The engagement remains tied to the project requirement.
• Attendance: Physical presence at the workplace is compulsory for both positions. The part-time option does not remove this condition.
• Internal applicants: If you already work for C-DAC and are selected, you must resign from your existing service to join as a consultant.
• Travel: You will not receive TA/DA for attending an examination, interview or assessment.
• Changes to the drive: C-DAC can change its staffing requirements or restrict, enlarge or cancel the recruitment. It can also revise the assessment arrangements.
• Application accuracy: Your engagement can be cancelled if you are later found not to meet the advertised requirements. Receiving a call letter does not by itself confirm acceptance of your candidature.
• Conduct and interpretation: Canvassing can disqualify you. If different language versions are interpreted differently, the English version takes precedence.
• Communication: C-DAC sends recruitment correspondence to the email address in your online application. Keep that address and your registered mobile number active throughout the process.
