Post-wise Duties

Project Associate

You will help design and maintain applications, servers and databases, turn client needs into working features, test releases and fix performance problems with the project team.

Project Engineer

You will build and troubleshoot software systems or support post-quantum cryptography testing. Depending on allocation, your work may include code review, automated test suites, security checks and technical reports.

Senior Project Engineer

You will guide a small team, analyse user needs and prioritise delivery across the development cycle. Security assignments can involve validation frameworks, vulnerability assessment and certification support.

Project Manager

You will coordinate technical execution, stakeholders and engineering teams. Hardware-security assignments may include evaluation laboratories, side-channel testing and interoperability benchmarks.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: the initial contract runs for up to two years or until the relevant project ends, whichever comes first. An extension depends on your performance and continued project need.
• Mobility: C-DAC may move you between projects and locations across India according to organisational requirements.
• Single choice: you may register for only one advertised post; multiple registrations can cancel your candidature.
• Experience assessment: only relevant work completed after the qualifying degree is counted. Internships, curriculum projects, part-time work and guest assignments normally do not count.
• Engagement status: selection gives no automatic right to regular service, continued engagement or extension.
• Attendance cost: you must meet your own travel expenses for the interview and be ready for a pre-employment medical examination.
