ANI Assistant Director Technical Recruitment 2026: Overview
The Directorate of Industries, Andaman and Nicobar Administration (ANI) is filling the Assistant Director (Technical) post through deputation at Sri Vijaya Puram. The notice connects this appointment with the directorate's promotion arrangements: the deputation can end when the post is filled through promotion. If you are considering a move from another government department, that condition matters when discussing release with your present office.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Tenure: The deputation is for three years, or until the post is filled through promotion, whichever happens earlier. You should therefore treat the stated term as a maximum subject to that condition.

- Departmental clearance: Your department must not forward or recommend your application if disciplinary proceedings are pending or being considered against you.
- Release from your office: The forwarding authority must check your information against official records and confirm that the organisation has no objection to releasing you if selected.
