AIIMS Rishikesh Research Associate-III Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh (AIIMS Rishikesh) is hiring a Research Associate-III for an extramural research project titled "Technical Resource Centre under the Centre for Evidence based Guidelines", funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), New Delhi and run under principal investigator Dr Prateek Kumar Panda. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Purely project-based: The post is temporary, contractual and co-terminus with the project. It gives you no claim to a regular appointment or absorption in AIIMS Rishikesh.
• Term and renewal: The first appointment order runs for three months. Renewal after that depends on your performance review by the principal investigator, the project's needs and the funds in hand — up to one year or the end of the project, whichever comes first.
• Joining window: You must join within five days of the offer letter, or the institute may cancel it and call the next eligible candidate.
• Eligibility is your responsibility: The institute checks eligibility only against original documents, and permission to appear in the selection process does not mean you have been found eligible. Anything found false at any stage cancels the candidature or the appointment.
• Interviews are in person: Requests for an online interview will not be entertained, and the interview happens only after your original documents are physically verified.
• What you get and do not get: Beyond the approved consolidated pay and admissible HRA, no other allowance or facility is payable, and no TA/DA is paid for attending the written test, document verification or interview.
• Conduct: Private practice of any kind is barred for the whole tenure. You also follow the conduct, discipline and confidentiality rules that apply to AIIMS Rishikesh project staff, and leave follows the contractual-staff rules.
• Place of work: You may be asked to work at AIIMS Rishikesh or at any project-related site, as the project needs.
• Exit terms: You can resign with one month's notice or pay in lieu, subject to acceptance and handover. The institute can end the appointment on the investigator's recommendation if conduct or performance is unsatisfactory.
• Institute's discretion: AIIMS Rishikesh can choose not to fill the post, cancel the recruitment, or change the number of posts without giving a reason.
