AIIMS Guwahati Data Entry Operator Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati is hiring a Data Entry Operator for a time-bound health-research project in its Department of Community and Family Medicine. The Indian Council of Medical Research-funded study will evaluate the Mudra Toolbox and Cognitive Harmony Program at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs through a multicentre, mixed-method trial. This is research-support work in a clinical and community setting, so the post goes beyond routine typing: you may coordinate with different team members and help keep study information complete and usable.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The wider project runs for one year and four months, while the successful person will normally receive an initial twelve-month engagement. Any continuation depends on performance, the remaining project period, available funds, operational need and approval by the competent authority.
• Temporary status: The engagement does not create a claim to a regular post at ICMR, AIIMS Guwahati or another government organisation. Project service also does not provide a right to absorption, transfer or a future assignment.
• Performance condition: The Principal Investigator can end the engagement if your work is not satisfactory. AIIMS Guwahati may also cancel, change or withdraw the recruitment or project position when required.
• Study-site flexibility: You will normally work at the assigned study site, but the research need may place you at another site. The competent authority decides the project allocation.
• Benefits and travel: This project post does not carry regular-service benefits such as provident fund, leave travel concession, medical claim or accommodation. No travel or daily allowance is payable for attending the interaction.
• Current employment: People already holding a regular or permanent post in a government department or organisation cannot apply. If you are otherwise employed, be ready to provide your employer's no-objection certificate when called.
• Shortlisting: Meeting the basic qualification does not guarantee a call. If applications are numerous, the appointing authority may use higher criteria to prepare a manageable shortlist.
