The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) has released a walk-in notification (Advt. No. OS-A/81/2026) for the post of Programmer. The role is offered on a contract basis for 6 months (extendable) through an outsourced manpower agency, and the selected person will work at the ACTREC campus in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. This is a good chance for .NET developers with at least one year of experience to work with a leading cancer research and treatment institute.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (IT or Computer Science) or equivalent from a government-recognised university with at least 60% aggregate marks.
• Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience building enterprise applications with ASP.NET MVC and C#.

Technical Skills You Need

• Strong hands-on skills in .NET development — C#, VB.NET and the .NET Framework.
• Good knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core MVC for web application development.
• Frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Understanding of WCF/REST API and IIS configuration.
• Skilled in SQL Server for database design, queries and optimization.
• Good problem-solving, debugging and communication skills.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 30 years old.
• Age Relaxation: The age limit may be relaxed for candidates with extra experience above the minimum requirement.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month.
• The exact amount depends on your experience above the minimum eligibility.

Selection Process

Selection is through a walk-in interview only — there is no written exam.

2. Document Verification: Your original certificates and experience proofs will be checked.
