UPCBL Cooperative Intern Recruitment 2026: Overview

Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited (UPCBL) is recruiting Cooperative Interns for district cooperative banks under an initiative linked to the Ministry of Cooperation. The programme helps cooperative societies put ministry initiatives into practice at the local level and gives young professionals practical exposure to cooperative institutions. Its main focus is strengthening cooperatives at the grassroots, including support for Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS).

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Fixed tenure: The internship lasts for one year. It does not give you a right to employment with the bank or any institution connected with it. The notice also distinguishes this internship from recruitment of resource persons.
• Bank coverage: The participating district cooperative banks are Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Etah, Banda and Ballia. Their areas cover Meerut and Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli, Etah and Kasganj, Banda and Chitrakoot, and Ballia respectively.
• Posting choice: Posting takes account of the districts you choose so the bank can use your understanding of the local area. UPCBL may still post or transfer interns according to its work needs.
• Office attendance: This is a full-time programme, and you must follow the bank’s office hours. Unsatisfactory work or absence without permission can lead to the internship ending, without financial benefits.
• Cancellation: The bank also reserves the right to cancel an intern’s services at any time without giving a reason. Read this condition carefully before accepting the engagement.
• Leave: You can use 10 days of casual leave during the year. Other leave is unpaid, while holidays follow the arrangements applicable in the relevant district cooperative bank or UPCBL.
• Confidentiality: Keep the data, reports and information you receive during the internship confidential. Do not share bank plans, policies or other information that is not already public; a breach can have legal consequences.
• Media communication: You must not represent the bank before print, electronic or social media. You also need the competent authority’s permission before posting your work on social media.
• Professional conduct: Follow the rules of UPCBL and the district cooperative bank. Deal professionally with bank staff and the public; the relevant bank controls your access to its data.

You may name up to two district cooperative banks in the form. Late applications will not be considered, and UPCBL’s decision is final if there is a dispute about whether you meet the requirements.
