Post-wise Duties

Controller of Examinations

You will support the Registrar in establishment, academic and financial matters and help university offices follow approved rules. Your work will involve coordinating files, decisions and administrative records across different sections.

You will assist with examination planning, secure handling of records and day-to-day coordination within the examination branch. The role calls for careful executive oversight and practical knowledge of examination software and office systems.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• University rules: Appointments will follow the Sibsagar University Act, Statutes, Ordinances and regulations, together with applicable UGC guidelines for Assam state universities.
• Shortlisting: Meeting the minimum conditions does not guarantee an interview. A screening committee will examine every application, and its shortlisting decision will be final.
• Initial status: The appointment remains temporary at first and confirmation follows a minimum probation period, which the university may extend.
• Medical fitness: A selected person must be physically and mentally fit and provide the prescribed certificate before joining.
