Accountant: 120-hour practical computer course covering office productivity or desktop publishing from a government-recognised ISO 9001-certified institution, or Computer Information Technology equivalent to DOEACC C Level.

Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Castes resident in Punjab: Upper age limit 42 years.
- State and Central Government employees: Upper age limit 45 years; departmental NOC required at counselling.
- Widows, divorcees and specified other categories of married women: Upper age limit 40 years under the cited Punjab instructions.

Exam Pattern
You will take an objective multiple-choice written examination. Each question carries 1 mark, with 0.25 mark deducted for a wrong answer.
Merit is based on written-exam marks, followed by counselling to check your documents and eligibility. Ties are resolved by older age, then higher marks in the required qualification, then higher matriculation marks.
