KGMU TERIIP Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

King George's Medical University (KGMU) is recruiting a project team in its Department of Critical Care Medicine in Lucknow. The team will work on Taskforce on Establishment of Reference Intervals in Indian Population (TERIIP Phase II), a multicentre observational study involving children and adolescents. The Indian Council of Medical Research and Department of Health Research (ICMR-DHR) fund the project, with Professor Avinash Agrawal as principal investigator.

Post-wise Duties

Project Research Scientist-I (Medical)

You will oversee study implementation, screen and recruit participants, and help ensure that the study follows its inclusion and exclusion rules. You will also handle consent and assent procedures, supervise data and blood sample collection, and coordinate the project team.

Your work includes data entry, quality control and periodic reports. You will keep the central coordinating unit informed, take part in review meetings and training, and help the principal investigator track project progress.

Project Technical Support-III

You will help collect, process, store and transport blood samples. Laboratory testing, sample quality checks and records of project materials are also part of this role, so your work supports both the samples and the information linked to them.

Project Technical Support-II

You will support sample collection, processing, transport and testing, with attention to correct labelling and storage. You will also help with quality control, inventory and handling samples left after testing.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: Appointments can continue for a maximum of 36 months or until the project ends, whichever comes first. Each annual extension depends on satisfactory performance.
• Nature of appointment: These posts are temporary engagements tied to the research project.
• Interview communication: KGMU will not send separate interview call letters. You should follow the arrangements stated in the notice.
• Travel costs: The project will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview.
