ICAR CIRCOT SRF Agri Business Recruitment 2026: Overview

ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR-CIRCOT), under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, is hiring a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for its Agri Business Incubation Centre in Mumbai. The contractual position belongs to the XII plan scheme of the National Agricultural Innovation Fund (NAIF), component II. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: Your initial engagement runs up to 31 March 2027. It is tied to the project and can end earlier; the institute also reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time.
• Extension: Further service depends on the applicable rules, the project continuing and a satisfactory performance review every six months. An extension is conditional, rather than automatic.
• Work base and travel: You will be based at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai. Project or office work may also involve travel to other places in India.
• Leaving the role: If you resign before the contract ends, you must give one month's notice. Otherwise, the competent authority may forfeit your consolidated pay.
• Travel costs: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview or joining the position.
• After the project: This appointment gives you no provision for absorption or re-employment in ICAR-CIRCOT or ICAR when the time-bound project ends.
• Joining: If selected, you should be ready to join immediately or as early as possible because the work is time-bound.
