HLL SSLC ITI and Diploma Trainee Recruitment 2026: Overview

HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL), a Mini Ratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is selecting SSLC, ITI and Diploma Trainees for its Akkulam Factory in Thiruvananthapuram. The engagement runs under HLL's Training and Development Scheme and is designed to give practical factory exposure that can help trainees seek work elsewhere later. This is training, not a route to automatic regular employment at HLL.

The entire notice covers the three education-based trainee groups in one walk-in drive. Your category depends on the qualification you have completed, and overqualified applicants will not be considered. The work is based at Akkulam Factory even though the selection test is conducted at HLL's Sargam Hall in Peroorkada.

The scheme gives you structured exposure to a working HLL factory while keeping each trainee stream aligned with its entry qualification. Posts and Disciplines

• SSLC Trainee: Entry-level factory training for candidates who have passed SSLC or VHSE.
• ITI Trainee: Trade-oriented factory training for candidates holding an ITI qualification.
• Diploma Trainee: Technical training for candidates who have completed a three-year diploma in any stream.

Post-wise Duties

SSLC Trainee

You will learn basic factory operations, follow production and clean-room practices, and assist with routine work under supervision.

ITI Trainee

You will apply your trade training to equipment, production, or maintenance support while following the factory's operating and safety procedures.

Diploma Trainee

You will support technical factory activities, learn process controls and records, and work with supervisors across the assigned production area.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Training term: The scheme is planned for three years, but HLL may shorten it at its discretion without prior notice.
• No regular-job claim: Completing this training gives you no right or claim to regular employment in the company.
• Shift work: Selected trainees must work in shifts according to factory needs.
• Prior HLL training: Anyone who has already completed similar SSLC or ITI training at HLL cannot join the same type of training again.
• Reservation: Government of India reservation rules apply to the selection.
• Conduct: Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification.

Download and complete the blank HLL application form before reaching the walk-in venue. Reporting begins at 10:00 AM at Sargam Hall, HLL Peroorkada Factory, Thiruvananthapuram, and anyone arriving after noon will not be admitted to the selection test.
