About This Job

GMRC has extended the last date for online applications for JGM (Telecom/AFC), DGM (Traction), and Assistant Manager (Rolling Stock) recruitment 2026 to 18 May 2026.

Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited issued a corrigendum dated 13 May 2026 for Advertisement No. GMRCL/HR/RECT/April-2026/16. The last date for submission of online applications has been extended to 18 May 2026.

The corrigendum states that all other terms and conditions in the original advertisement remain unchanged.

Responsibilities

  • Handle planning, specifications, contracts, installation, testing, and commissioning for the assigned metro system.
  • Manage Telecom/AFC, traction, or rolling stock work as per the post selected by GMRC.
  • Coordinate with project, operations, maintenance, vendor, and statutory approval teams.
  • Review technical documents, safety requirements, site progress, and system readiness reports.
  • Prepare updates for senior management on project progress, risks, and commissioning status.
  • Follow GMRC rules, metro rail standards, and project timelines across Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, or other Gujarat projects.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

B.E./B.Tech or graduate engineering degree in the relevant discipline with post-qualification experience

Preferred Qualification

Experience in modern urban metro rail systems; Gujarat work experience and Gujarati language are preferred

Required Skills

Telecom/AFC systems, traction systems, rolling stock systems, contracts, installation, testing, commissioning, statutory approvals

Age Limit

18 - 62 years (as on 29 Apr 2026)

Age Relaxation:

  • Age limit is not applicable to GMRCL employees
  • Age relaxation will not apply to officials re-employed in GMRCL after superannuation
