GGSIPU Guest Faculty Mathematics Recruitment 2026: Overview
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is engaging Guest Faculty in Mathematics through its University School of Basic and Applied Sciences (USBAS). The assignment supports Mathematics courses for B.Tech, B.Sc and M.Sc students in the University Schools of Studies at the Dwarka campus. It is a stopgap teaching arrangement for the July-December academic semester.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Semester-only arrangement: Your engagement is for one semester. The notice expressly rules out an opportunity for regular appointment through this arrangement. Consider this condition before treating the assignment as continuing employment.
- On-campus classes: Teaching will take place offline. You should be ready to attend the Dwarka campus for the classes covered by this guest faculty engagement.
- University rules: Guest and visiting employment follows the rules and regulations notified by the university. The appointment remains a guest faculty arrangement under those rules.
- Travel costs: The university will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview. You will need to make your own travel arrangements.
- Changes to openings: The university can change the number of vacancies, leave some or all posts unfilled, or withdraw advertised posts. Additional vacancies arising at the interview may also be filled from the available candidates.
- Fair participation: Canvassing can disqualify you. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts or tribunals in Delhi.

Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics courses assigned under the guest faculty engagement.
- Deliver Mathematics teaching for B.Tech students.
- Teach Mathematics to B.Sc students.
- Teach Mathematics courses for M.Sc students.
- Conduct assigned classes offline at the Dwarka campus.

Minimum Qualification
Master’s degree in Mathematics with a good academic record, meeting University norms and UGC regulations applicable to the course.
