ESIC Faridabad Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Overview

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital, Faridabad is recruiting Senior Residents for intensive care departments at its NIT-3 campus in Haryana. These are contractual hospital engagements, with continued service depending on performance and institutional needs. Posts and Disciplines

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: Your initial engagement is for one year. It can continue up to three years if the competent authority approves and your performance, conduct, willingness and the hospital's needs support an extension.
• Earlier termination: The contract ends if a bonded Senior Resident joins the same post. The authority also retains the right to terminate service in the public interest without advance notice.
• Leaving the post: You must give one month's notice or pay the equivalent of one month's salary. Failure to follow this condition can lead to loss of the salary and security deposit, as well as legal proceedings.
• Security deposit: A joining deposit is refundable after successful completion of the contract and submission of a No Dues Certificate. Resigning within six months normally means losing it, though unavoidable circumstances may be considered.
• Private practice: You cannot undertake private practice in any capacity after joining.
• Attendance: Record your attendance manually and through the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS). More than seven days of absence without prior approval is treated as abandoning the engagement and leads to automatic termination.
• Accommodation: Hostel accommodation or quarters may be offered if available, but you cannot claim them as a right. Taking hospital accommodation affects your housing allowance and attracts the applicable licence fee.
• Contract status: This appointment does not create claims to pension, provident fund, gratuity, seniority, promotion or the other service benefits excluded by the notice.
• Reservation: Government of India rules apply. If a reserved-category applicant is unavailable, the appointing authority may offer a 39-day engagement to another meritorious applicant. A person appointed under the disability quota is adjusted against their relevant social category.
• Recruitment changes: Requirements can change with patient-care needs, and the authority may amend, postpone or cancel the process. Attendance does not establish a right to appointment, and the hospital does not pay travel or daily allowance.
