Dr. Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan (DHAS), a Government of NCT of Delhi hospital in Karkardooma, is recruiting Senior Residents on an ad hoc basis. • Initial tenure: Appointment starts with 44 days. Further extensions depend on satisfactory work and conduct, with a one-day break after each 44-day period.
• Overall service limit: The normal total tenure can extend up to three years, including previous regular or ad hoc Senior Residency at a recognized institution. Engagement can end earlier when a regular appointee joins.
• Fallback engagement: The notice provides a conditional arrangement when postgraduate doctors are unavailable. That engagement can end when a doctor with the specified postgraduate credential becomes available.
• Separate list: The hospital first uses the list of fresh candidates. A separate list for doctors who have already completed their Senior Residency is considered only after the first list is exhausted.
• Second-list tenure: Appointment from that separate list lasts one year only and cannot be renewed after that year.
• Service rules: Government residency provisions and the applicable temporary-service rules govern the engagement.
• Travel: You will not receive TA or DA for attending the interview.
• Changes to the notice: The competent authority may amend or cancel the recruitment and change the advertisement.
