CSIR IIIM Administrative Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) is recruiting an Administrative Officer for its Health Technology Assessment in India (HTAIn) New Resource Centre in Jammu. This is a project contract under GAP-3200, supported by the Department of Health Research (DHR).

The institute works under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), within the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology. Your appointment supports the resource centre’s administration and project coordination under advertisement 32/2026.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The engagement initially runs until 31 March 2027. It can be extended or shortened according to the project’s duration, needs, funding and your performance or conduct.
• Project-linked service: Your appointment ends with the project. The combined tenure of project engagements across CSIR laboratories cannot exceed six years, including any earlier service in those laboratories.
• Performance: The institute will review your work periodically. Unsatisfactory performance can lead to the engagement ending without prior notice or a stated reason.
• Appointment status: You work temporarily on behalf of the sponsor. This arrangement gives you no right to a permanent position or absorption in CSIR-IIIM or CSIR.
• Interview language: You can interact with the committee in English or Hindi.
• Project needs: The institute may revise the number of positions based on the project’s requirements. The Director may also decide to leave advertised positions unfilled.
• Conduct: Seeking recommendations or using pressure to influence the appointment can disqualify you.
• Travel costs: The institute does not pay travelling or daily allowance for attending the walk-in, so you need to cover those costs yourself.
