CMO Muzaffarnagar Medical Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Muzaffarnagar is recruiting Medical Officers and Emergency Medical Officers for district and block-level health services under the National Health Mission. The appointments cover non-communicable disease clinics, the district hospital blood bank, emergency services and an urban health facility at Budhana. You would join on a contract under the district’s programme arrangements, with each role linked to the facility named in the notice.

Posts and Disciplines

  • Medical Officer, NP-NCD: This role is attached to a community health centre’s non-communicable disease clinic.
  • Medical Officer, Blood Bank: The posting is in the blood bank at the district hospital.
  • Emergency Medical Officer, DHS: These roles serve the district hospital and district women’s hospital.
  • Medical Officer, NUHM under PM-ABHIM: This programme role is attached to the Urban AAM facility at Budhana.

Post-wise Duties

Medical Officer, NP-NCD

In the non-communicable disease clinic, your work centres on medical care for patients using that service. The clinic setting distinguishes this appointment from the hospital emergency and blood-bank roles in the same notice.

Medical Officer, Blood Bank

Your clinical work would support the district hospital blood bank. This is the blood-bank appointment within the recruitment, with its service setting identified separately from general emergency care.

Emergency Medical Officer

You would work in emergency services at the district hospital or district women’s hospital. The role focuses on patients who need urgent medical attention and coordination with the hospital team.

Medical Officer, NUHM under PM-ABHIM

You would support medical services at the Urban AAM in Budhana. The notice ties this appointment to the urban health programme and its named facility.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Contract status: These appointments do not create a claim to regularisation. Your service follows the contract conditions attached to the recruitment.
  • Appointment period: The appointment is valid for one financial year. It may continue after approval from the Government of India; an extension is not automatic.
  • Reservation: Recruitment follows the reservation policy of the Uttar Pradesh Government. The notice identifies reserved and unreserved positions separately within each programme.
  • Changes during recruitment: The authority may change the number of positions at any stage of the process. The announced programme and facility details should be read alongside later official updates.
  • Travel: No travel allowance is payable for attending the interview. You should account for your own travel arrangements when the district sends the venue details.
  • Contract termination: The District Health Society may end a selected applicant’s contract if adverse entries or facts come to light.
