ASDMA (Assam State Disaster Management Authority) is hiring 2 Training & Field Executives (one male, one female) under the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project (AIRBMP). Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) Training and Field Executive Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

ASDMA has released a recruitment notification for the engagement of Training & Field Executives on a contractual basis under AIRBMP. The appointment is initially for 12 months, or until the project ends, whichever comes first. Field-heavy role — selected candidates will work out of Guwahati but travel extensively across Assam for disaster preparedness training, capacity building, and coordination with Circle Quick Response Teams (CQRTs). This role suits candidates with a background in disaster management, social work, or rural development who want field-level exposure to a donor-funded project.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline. Preference goes to candidates with a degree in Social Work, Disaster Management, Mass Communication, Sociology, Rural Development, or a related field.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 5 years of total experience in the social sector, including at least 3 years in training and capacity building.
• Domain experience: Experience in disaster management, disaster preparedness, community organization, or livelihood projects is required. Experience with World Bank, ADB, NGO, or other donor-funded projects is preferred.
• Added advantage: Experience in first responder training, Civil Defence, or Fire & Emergency Services will count in your favour.
• Skills: You should have strong project coordination skills, good communication in Assamese, English and Hindi, and working knowledge of MS Excel and SPSS. You must also be ready for extensive field travel.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month, inclusive of local taxes.
• Your exact salary will be decided based on your qualifications, experience, and previous assignments.
• Official travel expenses related to project work will be reimbursed as per rules.
