Army Dental Corps SSC Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Army Dental Corps (AD Corps) is commissioning dental officers on Short Service Commission, and the drive is run by the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS) through the AFMS recruitment portal. DGAFMS heads the Armed Forces Medical Services — the tri-service organisation that the Army Medical Corps, the AD Corps and the Military Nursing Service sit inside — and its 1A section is the office that grants short service and permanent commissions in the AFMS. An officer is commissioned in the rank of Captain or equivalent and is then employed as the service requires, which can mean any part of the country or a posting abroad, and with the Army, the Navy or the Air Force rather than only the Army.

Application Submission Notes

Applications are taken only on the AFMS recruitment portal. A first-time applicant registers as a new user; after that you sign in with your registered email address and password, an OTP and the captcha shown on the login box.
