AIAIC Managing Director Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Artificial Intelligence and Agritech Innovation Centre (AIAIC) is seeking a Managing Director for its Mumbai office. The state has created the centre under the MahaAgri AI Policy 2025–2029 to support implementation across Maharashtra. This is a deputation appointment to lead a newly established state-level office.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The deputation starts with a three-year term under the General Administration Department rules. Your appointment will follow the government framework for deputation.
• Authority attached to the post: The Managing Director receives administrative and financial powers at Head of Department level under the Financial Powers Rules Manual, 1978.
• Office: The circular identifies AIAIC at Maker Tower, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. The recruitment is for leadership of this centre.
• Departmental consent: Your administrative department or cadre-controlling authority must support the application. The form also asks whether that authority will release you if selected.
• Previous deputation: The form asks for earlier deputation details and whether three years have passed since your return to the parent cadre. Complete the applicable entries using your service record.
