University of Calicut (UOC) is arranging a walk-in for an Instructor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at its Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET). The engagement is on a temporary daily-wage basis against an anticipated opening. It covers a leave or existing vacancy among the institute’s contract staff.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Limited tenure: You can be engaged for up to 179 days, but the actual period can be shorter. The notice links continuation to the vacancy for which you are engaged.
  • Fresh contract appointment: Your daily-wage engagement ends if a fresh appointment on contract is made against that vacancy before the stated period is over. The maximum period therefore does not guarantee that length of work.
