NIT Silchar Project Associate I ECE Recruitment 2026: Overview
National Institute of Technology Silchar (NIT Silchar) is hiring Project Associate-I staff for an ANRF-ARG sponsored project in its Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Assam. The project studies beamforming and the deployment of multi-band UAV radars for terrain-aware border intrusion detection. Your appointment will be tied to this research project, with Dr. Ganesh Prasad as Principal Investigator and Dr. Wasim Arif as Co-Principal Investigator.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project tenure: The engagement can last for three years or until the project ends, whichever comes first. Extensions depend on a performance review every 12 months.
- Joining agreement: If selected, you will need to sign an agreement when you join. This is an explicit condition of the project appointment.
- Institute discretion: NIT Silchar can limit how many applicants it calls after screening. It may also leave the positions unfilled if it does not find suitable applicants.
