BHU JRF Physics Recruitment 2026: Overview

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a project in the Department of Physics, Institute of Science, Varanasi. The work focuses on designing and improving supercell phononic crystals to reduce low-frequency vibrations.

The project receives funding from Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), New Delhi, and carries project code P-07/1379. You would join a project led by Prof. Surendra Prasad, with an appointment tied to this research project.

Service Conditions and Caveats

Project-linked appointment: The project has approval for three years. Your post is temporary and ends with the project, so the engagement does not continue independently after the research project closes.
