Who Can Apply?

Store Keeper-cum-Accountant

• Qualification: You need a postgraduate degree, preferably in Commerce, or an MBA in Finance.
• Gender: Male and female applicants can apply for this post.
• Experience: Relevant experience will get preference during selection.

House Father

• Qualification: You need a Graduation degree in Arts.
• Preference: Arts graduates with Home Science, Psychology or Sociology will get preference.
• Gender: This post is for male applicants.
• Residential Duty: You must be willing to stay with the children in Utkal Balashram during your job period, except emergency leave.

Common Conditions

• Nationality: You must be a citizen of India.
• Odia Language: You must be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and should have passed Odia language up to middle school standard or equivalent.
• Health and Character: You should have good character, sound health and no physical condition that affects the work.
• Family Condition: You must not have more than one living spouse.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old as on 01 June 2026.
• No upper age relaxation is mentioned in the notification.
• The date of birth in your High School Certificate or equivalent certificate will be used for age checking.

Salary

• Store Keeper-cum-Accountant: Rs. 18,536 per month consolidated pay.
• House Father: Rs. 14,564 per month consolidated pay.

Documents Required

• Education Proof: Attach self-attested copies of Secondary, HSC, Graduation, Post-Graduation or equivalent certificates and mark sheets.
• Photograph: Attach one recent self-attested colour photograph of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
• Experience Proof: Attach experience certificates from previous employers, where applicable.
• Self-Declaration: Submit the declaration about no involvement in criminal activities, especially child-related offences.
• NOC: Attach a No Objection Certificate from your current employer if you are already working.
• Character and ID Proof: Attach a Gazetted Officer character certificate and a self-attested Aadhaar or identity proof.

Important Instructions

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done through career marking and document checking by the selection committee.

1. Academic Marking: Secondary carries 10 marks, Higher Secondary carries 15 marks, Graduation carries 25 marks and Post-Graduation carries 30 marks.
2. Professional Course or Training: Child rights and child protection training, M.Phil., Ph.D. or related professional courses carry up to 10 marks.
3. Work Experience: Relevant experience carries up to 10 marks.
4. Merit List: The total assessment is for 100 marks. If marks are equal, experience in child rights work gets preference.
5. Certificate Verification: Highest-scoring applicants will be called for original certificate checking before appointment.
