"Tribhuvan" Sahkari University (TSU), an Institution of National Importance created by an Act of Parliament in 2025, is building its administrative systems for cooperative education, management training and research. This Senior Officer role in Purchase and Procurement is a three-year contractual appointment focused on public purchasing, stores coordination and audit-ready records. It suits an experienced supervisor who can connect technical specifications, tendering, inventory and finance work without losing sight of government rules.

The position supports a university whose work is guided by Sahkar Se Samriddhi, so purchases may serve teaching, training, research and capacity-building activities. You should be comfortable working across departments, explaining procurement requirements to internal committees and keeping each decision supported by a clear file trail. Hands-on familiarity with GFR 2017, GeM and online tender platforms is central to the role, rather than a general management background alone.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: The appointment is for three years on consolidated pay. The offer letter will carry the final terms, and an offer can be withdrawn if it is not accepted within the stated time.
• Experience cut-off: TSU counts relevant experience only after you acquired the essential qualification. Your work should cover public procurement, purchasing and inventory coordination in an accepted government, autonomous, centrally funded or PSU setting.
• Shortlisting: Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee a call. The scrutiny committee may use qualifications or experience above the minimum and may arrange a screening test when needed.
• Interview arrangements: Interviews are held in physical mode, and TSU does not pay TA or DA for attending an interview, written test or screening test. Calls and other updates are sent by email, so you should monitor your inbox and spam folder.
• Campus mobility: Selected staff may be placed at any TSU campus, and the appointment is transferable across its campuses. You should be ready to support procurement needs beyond a single office or academic unit.

• Provisional candidature: Your candidature remains provisional until TSU checks original records. False documents, hidden adverse background information or canvassing can lead to cancellation or termination.
• Medical fitness: Appointment is subject to the university's fitness requirements. A selected candidate must provide the medical fitness certificate specified by TSU, with applicable treatment for PwBD candidates.
• University discretion: TSU may change the number of posts, leave the position unfilled or withdraw the advertisement. Any amendment will appear on the university website, and disputes fall within the courts at Anand or Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
