"Tribhuvan" Sahkari University (TSU), an Institution of National Importance created in 2025, is building its corporate outreach and resource-mobilisation work for cooperative education, training and research. The Senior Officer (Business Development) will connect the university with companies, public bodies, donors and other partners while helping its management-development, consulting and capacity-building programmes reach suitable clients. This is a three-year contractual role rather than a regular university appointment.

The position combines relationship management with practical proposal work. You would help shape institutional partnerships, keep the opportunity pipeline organised and turn programme ideas into clear pitches for prospective clients. It suits someone who understands how academic institutions work but is also comfortable discussing partnerships, funding and service delivery with senior external stakeholders.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract: The appointment runs for three years on consolidated pay. The notice does not promise regularisation or an extension beyond that tenure.
• Citizenship: You must be an Indian citizen, and your eligibility is assessed with reference to the closing day of the application window.
• Experience calculation: TSU will count relevant work only after you acquired the essential academic qualification. Make sure your certificates show both the role and the period clearly.
• Shortlisting: Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee an interview. A scrutiny committee may prefer applicants with stronger qualifications or experience, and the university may use a screening test when it needs to reduce the pool.
• Interview arrangements: Interviews are held in physical mode, and TSU does not pay travel or daily expenses for attending a test or interview. Call letters and other updates are sent by email, so your registered address and spam folder need regular checks.
• Campus mobility: The selected officer may be placed at any TSU campus and can be transferred between campuses. This matters if you are looking only for a fixed-city assignment.
• Verification: Your candidature stays provisional until TSU checks the originals and your background. False records, hidden information or an unsuitable service history can lead to cancellation or termination even after appointment.
• Serving employees: Applicants already employed must be ready with a No Objection Certificate and Vigilance Clearance for verification. Government, semi-government and PSU employees should also follow their employer's prior-intimation rules.
• Medical fitness: Appointment is subject to the university's medical-fitness requirement, with the stated exception framework for PwBD candidates. The selected person may also need to complete training or pass internal examinations prescribed later.
• University discretion: TSU may change the number of posts, withdraw the advertisement, limit the shortlist or leave the position unfilled. Any amendment will appear on the university website, while disputes fall within the courts at Anand or Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
