Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Deputy Director (Buffer), Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Chandrapur has issued a notice to fill 1 Veterinary Officer post on a service-contract basis at its Chandrapur headquarters. This role focuses on animal health care for livestock in villages around the tiger reserve buffer zone — cattle, buffalo, and goat vaccination, disease control, and guidance to farmers on animal husbandry. The selected candidate will be appointed for 11 months and will not be entitled to regularization or other permanent government service benefits. Veterinary graduates with field experience in livestock care are encouraged to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a veterinary degree (B.V.Sc & A.H) from a recognized university/institution, registered with the Maharashtra Veterinary Council.
• Experience: You should have at least 2 years of relevant field experience, including knowledge of cattle, buffalo, and goat rearing.
• Skills: You must know vaccination procedures, preventive care, disease control, and general treatment methods, and be able to guide farmers on animal husbandry practices.
• You should not have any pending court case against you.
• Submitting fake or incorrect documents will cancel your candidature.

Age Limit

• You should not be older than 45 years as on the last date of application.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on document screening and an interview:

1. Document Screening: Your application and certificates will be screened for eligibility. You are responsible for making sure you meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview place, date, and time by telephone. No travel allowance (TA/DA) will be given for the interview.

After selection, you will need to sign a service agreement on a Rs. 500 stamp paper before joining.
