Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) is engaging a Junior Research Fellow in its Department of Mechanical Engineering at Surat. The fellowship supports an Aeronautics Research and Development Board project funded by DRDO on aluminium-based high-entropy-alloy foams and sandwich structures for aerospace leading edges and fuselages. The work combines material design, prediction and experimental characterisation, giving you exposure to both modelling and hands-on metallurgy. The principal investigator is Dr Neeraj Srivastava, and the selected researcher may seek PhD registration at SVNIT under the institute's separate admission rules.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The position is purely temporary and initially tenable for one year. An extension depends on available project funds and your satisfactory performance.
