Who Can Apply?

Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist and Stenographer Grade-III

  • Qualification: You must have passed at least +3 examination or equivalent from a recognised university.
  • Computer: You must have passed at least a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised institution.
  • Odia Language: You must speak, read and write Odia and must have passed a test in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard.
  • Junior Typist Skill: Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Stenographer Skill: Minimum 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typing.

Salaried Amin

  • Qualification: You must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board.
  • Training: You must have passed Revenue Inspector Training from a recognised institute.
  • Computer: You must have knowledge in Computer Application.
  • Odia Language: You must speak, read and write Odia and pass Odia at M.E. standard.

Age Limit

  • You should be above 18 years and below 42 years as on 13 July 2026.
  • Age Relaxation: Reserved category candidates get relaxation as per the relevant Acts, Rules, Orders or Government instructions.
  • Other Conditions: You should be of good character, sound health, good physique, and should not have more than one spouse living if married.

Salary

  • Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist: Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month, Level-4.
  • Junior Typist: Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month, Level-4.
  • Stenographer Grade-III: Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month, Level-7.
  • Salaried Amin: Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month, Level-5.
  • Usual allowances are payable as admissible by the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through written examination, practical/skill tests, and viva-voce. Shortlisting for the written test can be based on marks in HSC, +2 and +3 exams, depending on the post.

  1. Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist: Written tests in English, Arithmetic, and General Knowledge, followed by Computer Science Practical Test and Viva-voce.
  2. Junior Typist: English written test, typewriting test, Computer Science Practical Test, and Viva-voce.
  3. Stenographer Grade-III: English written test, shorthand and typewriting test, Computer Science Practical Test, and Viva-voce.
  4. Salaried Amin: Written test, technical knowledge in Survey and Settlement test, Computer Science Practical Test, and Viva-voce.
  5. Final Merit: Merit is prepared based on marks in written/practical tests and viva-voce as per the post rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

For Junior Clerk/Typist/Stenographer: +3 (Graduation) or equivalent with Diploma in Computer Application. For Salaried Amin: Matriculation with Revenue Inspector Training and computer knowledge. Odia at M.E. standard required.

Preferred Qualification

Typing speed 40 WPM for Junior Typist; shorthand 80 WPM and typing 40 WPM for Stenographer Grade-III.
