Service Conditions and Caveats

• Binding preferences: Your chosen order of posts and institutions becomes final when you complete the online form. The Board will not accept a later request to rearrange those choices, so consider the two cadre structures before committing to your preferences.
• Final category declaration: The category you enter in your application is the category the Board will use. A later request to switch category will not be accepted, including changes affecting a horizontal reservation claim.
• Women’s reservation: If a suitable woman is not available for a reserved place, a suitable man from the same category may be considered. This does not permit moving the place into another social category.
• Reservation boundaries: Unfilled Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe places cannot be exchanged between those categories. The notice also rules out exchanging places between disability subcategories; a place remains unfilled if no suitable applicant is available for that subcategory.
