SoFED Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

Society for Entrepreneurship Development (SoFED), under Tripura’s Department of Industries and Commerce, is recruiting outsourced staff for government departments, agencies and projects. The notice brings together healthcare, laboratory, agriculture, finance, technology, transport and communication roles. These are short-term contractual placements across Tripura, and the notice is restricted to permanent residents of the state.

Posts and Disciplines

• Transport support: Supporting Staff for the Commissionerate of Transport’s pre-paid auto-taxi service.
• Media and language: Digital Editor and Kok-borok Translator for Information and Cultural Affairs.
• Brain Health Clinic: Neurologist, Speech Therapist and District Coordinator for North Tripura.
• Insurance Medical Officer: Placement at ESI Dispensary, Kumarghat.
• Cooperative offices: Drivers for Dhalai, South and Sepahijala district offices.
• Regional Food Laboratory: Technical Officer, Analyst, Driver and Lab Attendant under Family Welfare and Preventive Medicine.
• CAMPA project: Accounts-cum-Audit Officer, Geo Spatial Data Analyst, MIS Manager and Publicity Manager-cum Data Analyst under the Forest Department.
• College of Agriculture: Tractor and heavy-vehicle driver, light-vehicle driver, Plumber, Electrician, Computer Operator and Field-cum-Laboratory Assistant.
• Agriculture and Farmers Welfare: Assistant Technology Manager, with the advertised position reserved for PH candidates.
• Law and Parliamentary Affairs: Driving assignments in the department.
• Tripura ELEMENT project: Accountant and Procurement Expert under the Forest Department.
• Higher Education: Project Assistant at the State Project Directorate for Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: Engagement is for six or eleven months, depending on the assignment. You may receive an extension after a performance review if the department, agency or project still needs the role.
• Agreement: If selected, you must sign a formal agreement following SoFED’s prescribed terms. The notice describes these placements as outsourced contractual work.
• State residency: You must permanently reside in Tripura. The engagements carry all-Tripura service liability, so the named department or project does not remove that wider posting condition.
• Local preference: For the Insurance Medical Officer assignment, the notice prefers a resident of the ESI Dispensary, Kumarghat locality.
• Final form: You cannot edit your application after submission. Incomplete entries, inconsistent information or failure to complete payment can lead to rejection without a clarification request.
• Recruitment changes: SoFED may increase or reduce advertised posts. It also reserves the option to alter, pause or cancel part or all of the exercise without advance notice.

Corrigenda and Notices

• Corrigendum dated 9 October 2026: SoFED cancelled recruitment for Case Worker (Women), Para Legal Officer/Lawyer (Women) and Para Medical Officer (Women), corresponding to items 2, 3 and 4 of the original notice. These cancelled roles are excluded from the active post list.
