SMKV Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya (SMKV), Bastar is arranging guest teaching support for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. The notice covers Guest Lecturer and Guest Teaching Assistant engagements across the university’s teaching subjects.

This is a temporary guest arrangement. You should read the continuation conditions carefully, because regular appointments or transfers into the department can bring a guest engagement to an end.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Continuation: If a regular employee joins through a new appointment, regular posting or transfer, the guest engagement against that position ends automatically.
• Changing requirements: The university may increase or reduce the positions according to its teaching needs. The advertised subject arrangement can therefore change.
• No regularisation claim: Guest service will not give you a right to a regular appointment. The notice also says this arrangement does not place you on the university establishment or give you public-servant status.
• Tie preference: If applicants in the same category have equal merit scores, a Chhattisgarh native resident receives preference under the stated rules.
• Joining: If you do not report for duty within the time allowed after being called, you will be excluded from the next selection round.
• Attendance: Absence for 15 consecutive days brings the arrangement to an end. You must also follow institutional discipline and the head’s directions.
• Performance: Complaints about teaching or other work can lead to immediate termination and exclusion from teaching engagements in later academic sessions.

Write “अतिथि व्याख्याता हेतु आवेदन” and the subject on the envelope. Put your name, address and mobile number on the left, with the university’s postal address on the right.
