Service Conditions and Caveats

• Appointment terms: Kotwal is an unclassified post. The engagement is temporary and follows the government's orders for this cadre; the notice says retirement benefits do not apply.
• Work commitment: You will work full time for the government in the village revenue establishment. The notice links the role to the Kotwal recruitment and appointment rules, alongside the work assigned through the revenue office.
• Taluka restriction: You must live in the same taluka as the post you apply for and know that taluka. A Kudal resident must use the Kudal route, while a Malvan resident must use the Malvan route.
