RGU's Department of Social Work is recruiting 2 Field Investigators for the ICSSR-sponsored project titled "Substance Use Disorder and its Management among the Tribal Women of Arunachal Pradesh", led by Principal Investigator Dr. John G. Gangmei. This is a re-conducted walk-in interview — an earlier round did not fill both posts, so RGU has scheduled a fresh interview date. You do not need to submit an application online; you simply need to show up at the venue with your documents. Selected candidates must be ready to join immediately and stay physically present at RGU for the project's field work.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You must hold a graduate degree in any Social Science discipline — Social Work or Psychology preferred — with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Desirable Experience: Prior field work experience, especially in rural or urban tribal communities, is a plus.
- Skills: Good communication, interviewing and documentation skills are expected.
- Travel: You should be willing to travel and stay in remote tribal field locations in Arunachal Pradesh.

Salary
- Selected Field Investigators will get a fixed salary of Rs. 20,000 per month.
- The engagement is purely temporary and limited to the project's duration — no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)
There is no written exam for this post. Selection happens through a walk-in interview only, in these steps:
- Document Verification: Bring all original testimonials/certificates along with self-attested photocopies and your CV/bio-data.
- Walk-in Interview: Held in person at the venue on the scheduled date and time.

Responsibilities
